Praise be to Allah All Mighty that permits us to be in the month of Ramadhan, a month full of bounties of Allah.
Nevertheless we often failed to appreciate the basic bounties that are intrinsic in us : all faculties that enable us to survive another day by the Grace of Allah.
The faculty of thinking, talking, tasting, differentiating odours, listening/hearing, seeing/watching, feeling and moving.
As we lie asleep every night or day (nap) we are actually in a state of Death yet day after day Allah returns our soul to enable us appreciate His Greatness. It starts with offering our gratitude in solat Subuh (dawn prayer), what more as the day advances other prayers are wanting.
AlQuran registers the character of the Faithful servant of Allah the Most Gracious (Ibadul Rahman) in Surah Al-Furqan verse 64 as " those who spend the night in worship of their Lord, prosterate and standing."
May Allah bless us with the quality of Taqwa as one of the prominent bounty in the month of Ramadhan.
